The Mercury 9.9 EPT is a 9.9hp, 4-stroke Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) outboard motor. The model code stands for Electric Start, Power Tilt, and Transom, and it is configured for remote mechanical steering. It is a highly popular engine for small boats, tenders, and as a trolling "kicker" motor.
